Simba Mattress Review 2024

When you take time out to sleep, you give your body all the time it needs to improve your overall well-being in several ways, such as improving brain function and lowering the risk of serious health problems. That said, however, there is a close association between the quality of sleep you get and the type of mattress you’re using.

There are lots of different mattress options on the market however there are two major ones that really catch the eye, the Simba Mattress and the Origin Hybrid Mattress. These two mattress types have several amazing features that make them an excellent choice for enjoying very comfortable sleep. Because of this, lots of people often find it quite challenging to make a choice between these two mattress types.

Are you interested in getting a mattress for your home but have no idea which one to choose between these two magnificent mattress options? Read on to find out everything you need to know about choosing the right mattress for your home. Before we go into a detailed comparison of these two mattress types, however, let’s look at the Simba brand.

Origin Mattress vs Simba Mattress: Which Is Better For The Perfect Sleep Experience?

There’s no questioning the fact that the Simba Mattress is one of the best mattress options on the market, however, it has to be said that overall, the Origin Hybrid Mattress comes out on top! It’s all down to the quality and features of these two mattresses. Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why we prefer Origin to the Simba mattress.

1. Motion Isolation

Motion Isolation refers to how well a mattress prevents the transfer of movement from one side of the bed to the other. You should consider changing your mattress if your partner or pet moves a lot in their sleep and you often find yourself awake as a result.

The Origin Hybrid Mattress proves to be the better option of the 2 mattresses thanks to its pocket springs feature which the Simba Mattress does not have. These pocketed coils, also known as pocket springs, are individually wrapped coils that are designed to move independently. This not only provides targeted support to different parts of your body, but also ensures that motion is not transferred from one side of the mattress to the other. This means that when you lie on the mattress, the coils will compress only in the areas where pressure is applied, while the other coils remain unaffected, thus ensuring superior motion reduction.

2. Temperature Regulation

In this aspect, the Origin hybrid mattress again trumps the Simba mattress. This is because although both of these mattresses contain memory foam layers, the Origin mattress’s memory foam has an added cooling gel feature that ensures you’ll remain cool and comfortable while sleeping. In addition to this, the Origin Hybrid Mattress also has a 100% Natural Tencel layer which is naturally cool to the touch. These two features work hand in hand to keep your body as close to 18.3°C as possible, the ideal temperature for sleeping.

3. Comfort

When you want to compare the comfort levels of two different mattresses, one of the features you need to take into consideration is the number of layers the mattresses each of the mattresses have. The Simba Hybrid Mattress comes with five foam layers, designed to ensure that users are comfortable while sleeping. The Origin Hybrid Mattress has a 6-layered build, including a HexaGrid Orthopedic Layer that guarantees enhanced body support and even better user comfort. In fact, the Origin Hybrid Mattress was so well-crafted that they even split the HexaGrid layer into 3 sections. The middle third of the mattress, where your back and weight would be, is designed to provide even more support than the other areas. So in terms of comfort offered, the Origin Hybrid Mattress is a “no-contest” winner!

4. Warranty

No one wants to purchase an item and take it home only to find that there’s something wrong with it. Luckily, this is what warranties are for.

If you choose to get the Simba hybrid mattress, you’ll get to enjoy a 10-year warranty on your purchase. The Origin hybrid mattress, however, comes with a more impressive 15-year warranty that makes it the better option.

#5. Pricing

Ultimately, mattresses are costly purchases, most people buy what they can afford, and not what is best for them. Origin believes that everyone should have access to great sleep, and this shines through in their pricing. At £429 for a King, the Origin Hybrid Mattress is not just the more affordable option of the two, but also one of the most reasonably priced options in the market. Make no mistake, however, because this affordability doesn’t come at the expense of quality. Despite its relatively cheap price, The Origin Hybrid Mattress remains one of the best options on the market.
